Steph Grossman’s writing has appeared in Joyland, Paste Magazine, The Masters Review, CRAFT, and elsewhere, and is forthcoming in Salamander.

From 2011-2019, she worked in NYC publishing at places like Simon & Schuster, Penguin Random House, and JSTOR. She now lives in the Austin area, where she graduated with her MFA in creative writing from Texas State University. At TXST, she was awarded a Clark scholarship, the Graduate College scholarship, the Thomas L. Brasher scholarship, the C.D. Marshall scholarship, a Thesis Research Support Fellowship, and the Leonard and Elizabeth Wright Scholarship for Future Teachers. She’s now a lecturer in the English department at Texas State, is a feedback editor for The Masters Review, and is the co-host of the Basement Girls podcast with poet Bianca Pérez. She lives with her husband and their six-year-old kitten, Oryx. She’s currently at work on a novel and stuff.
