Steph Grossman’s writing has appeared in Joyland, Paste Magazine, The Masters Review, CRAFT, Salamander, and elsewhere.

From 2011-2019, she worked in NYC publishing at places like Simon & Schuster, Penguin Random House, and JSTOR. She now lives in the Austin area, where she graduated with her MFA in creative writing from Texas State University. At TXST, she was awarded a Clark scholarship, the Graduate College scholarship, the Thomas L. Brasher scholarship, the C.D. Marshall scholarship, a Thesis Research Support Fellowship, and the Leonard and Elizabeth Wright Scholarship for Future Teachers. She’s an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the English department at Texas State and is the co-host of the Basement Girls podcast with poet Bianca Pérez. She lives with her husband and their six-year-old kitten, Oryx. She’s currently at work on a novel and stuff.
